Id like to know what rule they're using to seem him ineligible.

It's the 1 year idle time after transferring between Div 1 schools. If Mayfield transferred to a Div II or lessor schools he could play immediately.

They certainly should let him play.

I don't want him to be able to play, because he's a pretty good player and would make the Sooners a better team. But as someone else has said, the ncaa goes full :shortbus: at the drop of a hat, so you never know what they're going to do.

Your "autocorrect" sucks! bring should be being.

Nope, it says nothing about having a scholarship. IMO it should. Non-scholarships athletes should be able to transfer without restrictions.
