When the White Sox score a bunch of runs (not this season) it seems like they can't buy a hit in subsequent games. I wish that fate on the bloody Sox.

We've discussed on a number of occasions that Burger might be at the top of the list for tradeable candidates. Glad we've delayed that at least for the time being.

Glad to see the White Sox hang on in this one where the Red Sox seemed to have every blooper fall for a hit and the White Sox didn't even get their first hit until the 5th. Giolito had a gritty performance without his best stuff holding the Red Sox to a single run. Pito got a double bringing his hands in and slicing the ball down the line to the opposite field prior to Pollock getting on by an error and Jake Burgers HR. Go Sox!

Kuechel is no longer a competitive major league pitcher. It's over. This is coming from a guy who claimed he may have a chance at rebounding. You cannot keep trotting this guy out there. Lynn is back soon. Let's hope that's it for him.

Not sure what the contract implications are. I read somewhere - I think Mingo pointed it out - that if he goes 160 innings, something like an additional $20m kicks in. So my question is can't we just cut him and eat his current salary for the rest of the year?
