It still miffs me that we have no shot at getting any higher than 10th before thee Rose Bowl....

I mean, if UCLA won as well then we'd go to 9th..........but then we'd also be playing like a #14 UCLA......

If ye would have told me before the season started that we would be 11-2 and playing in the Rose Bowl, I would have said for surely we'd be around #5 in the country.

Even if NU were to win out, I don't see them getting higher than 10th/9th

The SEC has a stronghold on the Top 10 and the projected bowl line-ups look real favorable for them.

I'd just be happy to win out and go 12-2. That would be some positive momentum into the offseason and into fall camp.

Sad but inevitable fact, however their game will often be rendered insignificant just like this year, and boy did the press try to pump the sunshine in there. Its about as exciting to me as another all SEC NCG, which I didn't bother watching the first or second matchup btw.

I'm holding off on any real fist pumping until the end of Sat's game. We've been so close before only to be let down like a ton of bricks by the end of the CCG. This team looks to be playing with a little more self motivation.
