Which is why I am not to fond on replay in baseball. I say fair/foul, HR/no HR and thats it. No safe/out or K-zone replay because it really does take away from the game, and Umps really have a better vantage point for safe/out calls, but it's sometimes impossible for them to see fair/foul.

Just my 2 cents...

The story is that the niners wanted Rogers all along, but thought that they could trade the first pick to tampa bay (gruden deeked that he wanted Smith), and then the niners would end up with Rogers and an extra pick. It was a bluff all along, by Gruden. So the Niners ended up with Smith.

Don't know whether this is really true or not, though.
