surprisingly amusing at times. seriously...if you all have kids, this is one of the few of 'those types' that are at least survivable to watch. though, as a 'young adult' i must say the quality of kid tv has gone down the crapper. all they have is mindless, pointless, crap now. i mean, the stuff i used to watch was at least entertaining, or had some value to it. now it's all...i dunno, bathroom jokes.

I do get a kick outta Family Guy. But nothing measures up to good ole Looney Tunes, Popeye, Tom and Jerry, Dennis the Menace, so on...

Never understood the "The Last Airbender" title. People bend air all the time. It's called "farting."

Honestly, I always get irritated when my friends schedule their lives around TV shows. With the advent of DVR and online viewing, there's no need. Go out and have a great time and watch the show at a more convenient time. The only show I ever watched on the day it was on was Friends and that was because it ended when I was 16 and I had nothing better to do at that age.

Now, I actually follow more shows than I ever did before, but that's because I can watch them at my convenience: Big Bang Theory, Glee, Law and Order: SVU, Weeds, Top Chef, The Office. That's a ton of TV for me. Two of those I just watched straight through on DVD before, so I guess I will get into them this season.

DVRs are a great invention. Besides sports there are very few things I was as they were broadcast. Even if we are home we will give the shows a head start so we can watch them without the ads.

Even with all the shows we watch, the majority may get watched from the DVR on one night over the weekend. And if we haven't watched them for a certain amount of time, then we probably wont. Last season we started watching "Flash Forward". After watching a couple of episodes they really started accumulating unwatched on the DVR. Finally when the prospect of watched 8 episodes of that show became too depressing to comprehend we deleted them.

I loved Bob Vila's "This Old Storm System." Got the complete DVD collection.

Speaking of Bobs and reruns, they need to start putting this guy back on. He was the best.

You know...I've only ever watched about 5 minutes of a Bob Ross episode, and yet I strangely feel like I have watched every one of his shows.
