I think they're pretty funny. I mean the second guy from the left's outfit alone could provide 2 pages of humorous quips.

do not disrespect Randy Rhoads.
I will hunt you down.

yeah I thought the province still has to do legislate it and tax it? I didn't think a municipality could do it. so would it be just Vancouver and not Delta, or Surrey, richmond etc...
I think a factor in it is that Vancouver has its own police force, so you aren't changing the rules that the RCMP carries out city-by-city.
taxing it could also fall to a municipal level, due to the business license aspect of it.
they might also have the right to charge some sort of sales tax on it, or a modified one, anyways (like on gasoline)

they can get VPD to look the other way ... wait a sec ... thats pretty much whats been happening for years now

theyre gonna give out business licenses to a "business" the federal government currently deems illegal?

Im all for decriminalization but this is just municipal govt grandstanding ... how bout they work on decreasing their 30 minute line ups in their building permit department

Neither do I, but who knows, this could be a key first step in legalizing and licensing pot in BC. Lord knows the province could use the money to tackle the provincial deficit.

well Christy Clark admitted she smoked pot so who knows :noidea:

/or maybe not

Premier Christy Clark has virtually admitted she smoked pot in her high school days, but says that doesn't mean she's about to lobby the federal government to loosen Canada's marijuana laws.
