Very sad to hear this. It happens fast with brain cancer my dad was diagnosed in early October and died on Christmas morning. I have been around to many people that died of cancer but his brain cancer was so fast you could see him deteriorate almost from day to day.

I often wonder the same thing. I knew a few people who were diagnosed with things and died in weeks. In a way its a blessing, to not suffer long - but its such a short time to prepare.

I guess its more than most of us get though.

Yes it is and I'm surprised she can still make decisions like that. Like I said in my previous post this brings back bad memories because my dad had the same thing. I know there are various conditions that can change the aggression of the disease and I hope she doesn't suffer too long.

A little surprised there hasn't been more about her in the main stream media. Very sad to hear.

It's being reported now by her doctors that Valerie Harper's cancer is close to remission and that she's bought herself more time.
