thats about as much as we celebrate it lol. we have watched a few people on our facebook feeds send stuff to each other every day this week. good grief its one day in 365 if you have to save it all for this day um you may need some help.

the fact that this is the 2nd most expensive day to send flowers next to Mothers Day shows me all I need to know about it

On our first Valentines day as a freshly minted couple (like 3 weeks), Mrs 43 and I had a disaster of an evening and wound up eating Pizza by Candlelight in my living room.

And tonight will be the 22nd Valentine's day in a row that we have done the exact same thing. Kids are included.

Although, in the past we didn't usually go to facebook afterwards and mock the postings of people who hate their spouse the the other 364 days of the year like we have the last 2...

Not only Valentine's Day for me. 37 years ago today, we were married at 4:45 AM at the Courthouse in Las Vegas. And no, I wasn't drunk and neither was she.

My wife's birthday was yesterday so she is lucky if I even say hi to her today. Maybe a head nod and "'sup?".

My wife is kind of a tomboy so we don't celebrate this holiday. Other benefits were eloping and no engagement or wedding rings. Also she bought a full set of goalie pads (kids set) from a going out of business sale (RIP Caldor) and we used to go up to a basketball court and I'd take shots at her for a while. We havent done that in years.....hopefully soon.
