Thanks for rubbing it in. I've never rolled a perfect game. In a span of 4 weeks in my 20s, I came one pin away from a perfect game twice. They were both a solid 10 pin in the 8th frame. 279 both games, my highest.

Ouch, that hurts, but that's still some fine bowling. My high game is 224, but that's when I was bowling quite a bit (like once a week, not in a league mind you, just for fun), but I'd be lucky to break 150 these days.

I broke 200 a few times and that's it. I think my high was 214 but don't remember exactly. However I did it in the old Montreal Forum which they turned into an entertainment complex and had lanes for a while (since closed). So I got THAT going for me, which is nice.

I had aspirations for going pro. In both of my freshman and sophomore years in college I just missed the cut making the intercollegiate team. That plus not spending enough money on equipment and practice, my skills basically just plateaued. I still can maintain around a 190 average to this day.
