I feel like despite this rampant censorship that these accomplished students will move on to bigger and better things. I have no doubt that the climax of their academic career is yet to c***.

I find it somewhat funny thinking this event was held at the Cloverdale Rodeo. I wonder how many in the crowd appreciated the performance they witnessed or were just trying to find a place to sit down out of the sun after chugging down a vat of mini donuts

Back in my BMX days, we did a lot of shows at State Fairs. In New Jersey and Pa, we were convinced most people watching were just that - sitting down in the shade. The most basic tricks would get the biggest applause. They went nuts when we just turned around and rode backwards sitting on the handlebars. By contrast, there was a really difficult trick that had just been invented and several of us had been trying it for a week or two. My friend Dave actually landed one in the show and there was barely a response.

That kid in the video has skills. Not many flatlander/freestyle skaters around anymore.

Dumb question most likely. Was he pedaling at all in that video or was that mainly gravity taking him downhill so quickly?
Not pedaling a lot. Gravity and momentum mainly. Maintained by pumping your legs and arms. Hard to be in the right gear to actually get any acceleration on any of the short flats.
