One of my favorite clips ever. Whenever I go down the Don Rickles rabbit hole on Youtube this one never gets old. If you've never seen the documentary "Mr. Warmth The Don Rickles Project" it is excellent. I got to see him live once a couple of years before he stopped performing and I laughed so hard my body actually ached the next day.I know I've posted this before, but it cracks me up every time...
Have you seen this clip? Maybe I just missed it somehow, because I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. Pretty good older Rickles stuff. One of my favorite clips ever. When I saw him he went after a guy in the front row. "Hey, where are you from? England? How the hell you'd get these tickets? It's ok we need you people, I love the muffins".The talent of being able to rip people without being offensive while at the same time getting everybody in the house to laugh and then the class to wrap it up the way he does and then you see the smile on Shirley's face. Don Rickles, we miss you.
