The Cobra would make a throw from the warning track in the right field corner to 3rd base on the fly. These days it takes 3 hops for a player to throw home on a shallow sacrifice fly to center field.

Do you remember when that dude sitting near Pesky's Pole knocked off Sheffield's hat? That was Coach House, he was the defensive co-ordinator at MIT when I was there (hell he may still be listed as the "honorary coach" of one of the fantasy football teams in my alumni league ).
