yah I agree with it not being Abraham ... i think its what the writers want us to think ... misdirection ... and your logic would also mean it wont be Eugene either ... because him taking the wheel of the rv while the others move on foot was a sacrifice ... plus Negan probably sees him as humpty dumpty lol

the cliffhanger is lazy imo ... i have a feeling now theyre going to go according to the comic
Glenn
... Having those Norman Reedus promo ads for his new show during the commercial break was also an attempt to make us think he gets it (but they didnt tell everyone its only a 6 episode run - lol)

yep. I keep going back to Daryll as I just want it to be him (I know it wont),. I really dislike that character and I even disliked him more after the talking dead (Norman Reedus was on it) I do like the actor's portryal of Negan, I just wish he could use the word fuck for him. Fuckity Fucking Fuck

I liked the episode.:noidea:

I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan is freaking awesome as Negan. Perfect casting IMO.

I knew they wouldn't show who it was, so I guess I was prepared for it. It's kind of cheap, but I don't think takes anything away from the episode. It'll make for an awesome premier when it comes back.

IMO, they stay with the comics here, and the Lucilled is
GLENN

I think it is Abrahamn. He has gotten way to optimistic.

It needs to be Glenn. Abraham is not epic enough to be Lucille's first.

Man, check out this wild fan theory...

I'm going to guess the gang got into or out of some trouble. I'm going to guess that it took a long time for not a lot to happen. amirite?

So negan may or may not have been a used car salesman in the pre zombie world

I was on vacation last week and still have the last two episodes on my DVR. I caught up to several shows already but haven't really felt like watching TWD yet. I might be done. Liked the comics and love the setup; but I really do think the show is pretty bad now.

I think it has to be Glenn.
- He's been on borrowed time since dunpster diving.
- there's a mini-Glenn in Maggie's bellah anyway
- maggie cutting her hair last week turned her into warrior-maggie. which is better done solo.
- them being reunited is a good dramatic time for a goodbye

Also it would appear that whoever it is was one of the four taken during the previous week's episode. The episode begins with the first person perspective of one of those four in the back of the van. We see it at least one more time throughout the episode. Then we get a first person perspective of someone getting beaten by Negan and Lucille at the end of the episode. I'm guessing all 1st person perspectives were from the same person during their last day on Earth.

Very good point that I had not heard mentioned anywhere.

I can't ta full credit for this theory. Someone actually posted an article on the other thread that discussed it My only original contribution was incorporating the episode's title "Last Day on Earth" into the theory. When the episode starts the person can see daylight outside of the van. I'm thinking that was in the morning when the person first woke up and the start of their last day on Earth.

Great observation @juliansteed

Refresh my memory. Did we see that point of view vantage point 4 times during the episode? If thats a yes, maybe each time shown was what each one of the captured 4 saw

I find that I am quite feeling a form of apathy for who is actually killed now. this ending took that away for me. I won't have that same feeling if I saw it happen then dwelled on it for the season

The Walking Dead: Shark Edition!

I'm a little interested. It was decent in the first season, but also moves too slowly. I'll probably watch a few episodes, see if it's any good this season.

I am excited, but I have higher expectations for S2 than I had for S1. S1 was just a prequel to S2. If it does not deliver on its own this year, the show will be a failure, IMHO.
