I have so much envy for fans of the Packers and Steelers, I have already told my family that if that day ever happens that the Sabres or Bills ever win a championship please give me time before calling me because my emotions would let go and would probably cry like a baby for a while.

Not afraid to admit it but all of these years of heartbreak and frustration would come out.

Yes, I'm not afraid to say it at all it would be so emotional for me I can't imagine my reaction. Call me a wuss or whatever but it would be a very emotional time for a fan that has waited years for it.

I envy you Pittsburgh and Packers fans so much for having experienced this many times but we haven't been there. I just hope I get to see it before I pass on. My brother was a great Bill's and Sabres fan and he even wanted to be buried in his Sabres jersey when he died from complications from MS at 31 years old.

I was so grateful that a few players from both Buffalo teams visited him at home to give their best and it meant the world to him. Many of the players do things like that and it never gets press.

Chris loved the Bills and Sabres like I do and it would make my life complete if I could see a championship for me, him and a long suffering fan base.

Maybe that day will come and with any luck with a new owner that seems committed to winning that day will come soon. One can only hope.

Good luck to both teams tomorrow and lets hope for a good game.

I feel for you Boss. I hope that day does come, soon! If the Sabres are still left after the Caps are out, I will always cheer for them ahead of any other team. Every sports fan should experiance a championship of some sort durring their lifetime. I feel for Buffalonians(sp?) Every single fan has been spoiled if their team has won a championship, they just don't appriciate it as much, which is a shame.

I don't know if they are spoiled but they sure like to rub it in your face. It takes a good organization a good team and yes luck to win it sometimes. That's the problem a lot of fans of the winning team don't like to acknowledge. Most coaches do and even some players but fans not so much.

I guess it's a part of sports but it's much easier for the winning teams to ignore it than the team that lost.

If the Bruins or Pats don't win it all, I root for Buffalo. Especially now where I've met so many classy fans here on SportsHoopla. You guys and gals deserve a championship. And no Boss, don't be ashamed to cry. I did in 2004 when the Sox won the WS. For so many years, I never thought I would see that day.

I just hope it ends with a Steeler W. I think Ben is going to have a BIG game. His first SB he played horribly, his second he played decent then awesome at the very end, so this time...I think it's Ben's time to shine. I'd love to say Mike Wallace will have a great (or shall I say grate?) game, but I know he may spend some time with a future HoFer on his tail. Although Hines does still draw the number one corner most days.
