I'm going to throw this out there:

Other than being killed in office and being part of one of the biggest mysteries, conspiracy theories, ever...what exactly did JFK do while in office? He wasn't alive long enough to really impact anything.

Also, it's ever Presidents fault. Each has a blame to lay at their feet. The fact that people point out what past Presidents did to justify what the current President is doing just means that whatever it is they are doing, they shouldn't be doing. It's that simple.

Less government (in some areas, not all) would be a dramitc shift to getting something right.

I'm not arguing Kennedy's legacy, I was just making the point that Democrats blame the prior republican administrations, and the Republicans blame the prior Democrat administrations.

It's like high school drama only played out by rich, out of touch, power hungry people who quite honestly don't give a shit about improving anything.

Oh, and for JFK, I would say one thing he did that was pretty significant was not taking the bait during the Cuban Missile Crisis and not going to war.
