PLEASE don't buy your daughters that crap like Bratz and the stuff that encourages young girls to wear caked on make-up, etc. It's just asking for society to breed more skanks.

My kid got a couple of Bratz dolls as early as her 4th birthday. I explained that I didn't like the way they looked, and didn't want them in the house. She agreed they were weird, and was pretty good about returning them and getting to shop for anything (within reason) in the store she wanted.
the next year she got some more Bratz, and was excited because she wanted to bring them back and go shopping again.

Well done sir, well done. Seriously, they make me sick. I mean, yes I was a tomboy as a kid, but that stuff is just crap. Then they came out with baby Bratz...with infants in makeup and dressed like skanks. As if the name wasn't enough. Yuck. My children, no matter the gender, will (well...I'll let them decide for the most part...) wear jeans, jerseys, hoodies, and the like. Why you say? BECAUSE I SAID SO!
