OT: so, I got a Christmas bonus from work the other day...

It's a year long subscription to the jelly of the month club...but that's ok...it's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year long...


But seriously, it was a decent amount of cash... I wanted a sound system for the game room...I picked up one of those Bose Wave systems..I know the old line...no highs, no lows, must be Bose....but the thing sounds great....it's about the size of a boom box but sound like a big system...anyone ever hear one of these things?

The only Bose product i have is an iPod dock. Sound quality is great, but was a tad expensive.

I had a Bose Lifestyle system in my old place.
it was pretty awesome... it would read all of my CD's and learn over time the kinds of I preferred to listen to most often.

Those things have been around forever. I had an Acoustimass setup many years ago, a 3 piece unit and it sounded awesome. You still pay a pretty penny for any Bose product though. You probably could have gotten a decent system at Best Buy for 1/3 the price. But hey its a Bose!!

I'm expecting (read: not hoping... EXPECTING) a nice set of Bose QC or AE2 headphones this Sunday.
Either those or a Beats Audio (best bass in a headphone I have EVER heard)
But I'm assuming my Santa will opt for the less $$ AE2

It's all I asked for, dammit. Ought to get it.

And that's the way it is with Bose. Expensive? yes, but great sound. If you can afford it you can't go wrong.
