OT: Skyrim

I was a massive Gears addict back in the day... Not sure why I didnt just pick that up when I bought my 360 over the weekend. I just kept seeing people raving over Skyrim on my FB wall and here. But I quit playing World of Warcraft because of the amount of time that goes into that. I have the time, but dont want it all going to my XBox, lol.

yeah Im never going near WOW I just dont have that time to give heh

Plus, I aint got shit going on later, and want to chainsaw some motherfuckers. I enjoy talking shit online as well in FPS. I havent done an 1P RPG in a while, story was just too slow for me.

I have played both of these games, and while not optimal, you can play Skyrim for an hour at a time. You can do that in WoW also until you hit the level cap and start raiding. Oh dear god raiding.

I can, the problem is I don't want to. Leveling in WoW was fun the first time, but playing a new character seems like way too much grinding, only to be followed by grinding for gear when you get to the level cap, followed by grinding away on raid bosses when you get good enough gear. It was a blast and for the most part I have fond memories, but I don't want to do it again or any more. It's like pumpkin pie. First slice is great, second is pretty good, but by your third pie, you are probably thinking you are alright.

I cant play games like that for just one hour. Thats why I switched to FPS games. I can log on, play for 1-2 hours and get off. I figured I'd try Skyrim. Sat down for like 5-6 hours on Sunday. No way. Traded that bitch in.
