so all the danger propaganda sure stopped once the games began eh.
Do you think it's possible that the Russian propaganda machine would be able to cover up any attacks (assuming outside of the Olympic Village) if they did occur?
/Dash, I didn't know you were doing secret surveillance in Russia.
I was, but I got relieved of my duties because I spent too much time covering the Russian women's curling team.
Plus there would DEFINITELY be dash cam footage of anything that happened show up on youtube.
It's almost as if Hockey Canada and USA Hockey overhyped it because they wanted the players without distraction of their family there...
Still just over halfway done. Can't relax yet, unfortunately.
yeah for sure. but I guess what I was getting at was that they are not even talking about any risks. the media was so heavy into what ifs and what could bes now its just gone. media is just so inflated on how they want us to think . Im very glad nothing has happened and hope still nothing will
I am sure to a degree, broadcast journalists are behaving because I am sure it was no so subtly hinted that credentials to get into certain events are in danger for saying what they don't want you to say.
The stories about inadequate facilities stopped too. "Oh, so sorry. You posted on twitter about your hotel room door being made of tissue paper. No entry to figure skating arena."

good point.
I think it's more likely that once the actual events started happening, there was no need to fill dead air with garbage.
how do you explain NBCs coverage then lol
