In related news... Seacrest is wanted for questioning....
Ryan Seacrest is the Steve Rucchin of television...
Ah yes, Steve Rucchin. 6 foot 2 inches tall. 215 pounds. Played high school hockey at Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School. Played 10 seasons with the Ducks before spending one season with the Rangers and Thrashers. Had 164 career penalty minutes. Born July 4th, 1971. I totally remembered who that was and didn't have to look him up on Wikipedia or anything.
I can't remember who it was at the swamp, but he/she created an Awards category called the Rucchin awards. Essentially, it was a listing of players who benefitted the most from their linemates/teammates (or in Seacrest's case, co-stars).
And TOTALLY redeem yourself!
RIP Dick Clark. Tough times at the end, but you had one hell of a run.
I really believe that was his doing/decision. I don't think "them" could have stopped him. I applaud him for that. But, I had a real problem with them trotting him out there every year after his stroke. I found that to be in poor taste and pathetic. Just leave the poor guy alone.
