I would like to see the interleague stuff stopped altogether. Division races should be decided by division games, of which there are no longer enough. Now that the leagues are even, it would be easy to schedule one home and home 3 game series with each in league out of division team and 24 games with each division rival. 156 games, with more room to expand the playoffs.

This would be the fairest way to decide division champs. The schedules would be even. Then the second place team in each division gets into the playoffs as wild cards. Seed the top two division champion records as first round byes and you have three playoff rounds before the World Series, which would make for much must watch TV in October.

I still think they need to add two more teams like the NFL, go with 2 conferences, 4 divisions, 4 teams per division. They need to incorporate Interleague throughout just like they already did, but play MORE interleague games during a year.

Division Teams (3) = 48 games (16 per team - 8 home - 8 away)
Conference Teams (12) = 48 games (4 per team - 2 home - 2 away)
Interleague Teams (16) = 64 games (4 per team - 2 home - 2 away)

That is 160 games, so you do not lose much in the way of regular season games, and since you only get to see every team in the league at your home stadium for two games, the stadium is more than likely to get packed, because it will only be for 2 games.

You get to see every major league ball club in your home park, so fans of other teams can show up and support their teams if they are finally coming to their home park.

You balance the schedule.

This would sell many more tickets with this format, because you are still playing 8 home games against each of your divisional rivals.

Plus, since the new format is divisable by 2, you can have a 4 game series against a division rival, where another division foe may have two, two game series against two other teams. This keeps even and odd number series from affecting other series starts. The whole league can just have an off day together.

I think it would be much better, because I would love to go watch a series in Cincinnati versus Oakland, or Seattle, maybe Texas, or the Yankees.

I am a National League fan, but I still would enjoy watching the Reds play these teams at least once a year to give the competition some diversity, and balancing the schedules. Eliminating any interleague issues anyways.

Alright, you're being a bit dramatic. We won 69 games last year with the worst roster/manager/clubhouse Boston has had in decades. We will suck by normal Red Sox standards, but we will still be .500.
