About 2 inches of snow out by me, but NYC is mostly a rain/snow mix with none of it sticking so far. Afternoon is supposed to get bad.

Sabres are stuck at the airport (on the tarmac) and they said they're not sure if they will be out for the games against the Islanders tomorrow night. Then they have a game scheduled here Sunday.

It don't look good.

Work shut down at 12pm as the roads are getting treacherous. I saw 2 accidents within 15 minutes of leaving work. Stopped to buy a 12 pack, spent the remaining $8 on lottery in which a $5 ticket won me $10, then a $10 won me $20, rolled it over into a $20 ticket and won $200. Gotta thank the owner Monday for letting us go early. I got good bud, beer, some Southern Comfort, Turkey Hill Ice Cream, good to go.

Oh, and it's starting to snow pretty heavy and this is just the beginning.

There is currently a storm in Southern Ontario and another in New England. They are expected to merge when they both make their way to the Maritimes where I live later tonight. Naturally, the biggest blizzard we are suppose to get in forever just happens to be on the weekend.

It's pretty bad at the moment and supposed to get worse. I agree couldn't this happen on a Sunday night into Monday instead?

Estimates are for 21+ inches here in New Bedford. Buoys reporting 15 foot waves at the moment and they think they might reach 25 feet. 21,000+ have lost power so far.
