OT: MW3

Since there is a Skyrim thread, I thought it was only fair to make a CoD thread.


Who has it? Thoughts?


I bought it on Wednesday but haven't really been able to play it with work. Will try and get in some considerable time this weekend.

So far on live, I am getting owned. #Rusty

I never had MW2 and I've played black ops for about 8 months.

It was a HUGE adjustment for me. You have to be on your toes the whole match and they have the maps set up to where there is virtually no camping going on. You can't just post up and pick people off. You'll die trying to do that. I learned you just have to keep moving or you'll get pwned. Also since UAV's and advanced UAV's are constantly up, Assassin is a must perk.

If you have PS3, Brasky15.

MW3 is just about that. Maps are bigger IMO, and they are wide open. There is no where to hide for long. Made me realize some people are just plain good at this game.

Definitely slightly tougher than black ops

I did just play a frustrating game with campers, but it looked like they were all a party so it was planned.

People will camp no matter what, but they did a good job making hiding spots accessible from more than 1 point.

Might have to agree with that one. I love all of the WW ones. MW is still awesome though.

Well I guess that's my point. You've encountered them. n00bs are gonna try and camp no matter what. It's just much easier to get at them w/ these maps. Like someone was saying, there's multiple entry points to every potential camp spot. You have to have a coordinated team to truly camp.

alright.. you guys + my friends that have it convinced me to get mw3.. its alright.. i think i'll like it more once i figure out the maps.. but they keep shrinking the maps and putting them all on the streets.. it'd be much better if it were more open.. JMO.. there's not much difference in map strategy to me, its run through the streets with an automatic weapon and spray towards the enemies that you come across
