Hehe, it's all good. I really don't follow ND either, I just hate them and all the press they get for being in all reality a very mediocre football team. Charlie "offensive guru" Weiss got canned, Jimmy "turf toe" Claussen fell in the draft and the Seahawks got Golden "I steal donuts at 2AM" Tate. I'm very happy the Seahawks drafted Tate though as I think he's going to be very good. Oh and they have touchdown Jesus. That's about all I know.

Hey John, what are you're thoughts on Locker potentially being the #1 pick in the draft next year?

My h2h team was a mockery - pretty sure I finished dead last after the consolation playoffs (finished around 8th or 9th in the regular season). Chris has won the Roto league two years in a row, right? I've been on his tail both times! Blah!

Maybe I'll draft Getzlaugh in the first round again...

Heh, go for it for no other reason than to upset Abomb. ;)

Yeah Chris has won roto both the last two year. Both years he and I have made blockbusters too. 2 years ago he traded me OV and Alfredsson for Lecavalier and Thornton and last year I got Boyle and someone else for Nabby.

Hey John, what are you're thoughts on Locker potentially being the #1 pick in the draft next year?

I'm looking forward to watching him play, I hope for his sake he makes it through the entire season without injury. All the UW fans are ecstatic he came back, but it is a risk on his part. I heard several analysts say they thought he had a chance to go #1 this year if he had entered the draft. If the NFL does get a new CBA signed and they institute a salary scale for rookies, that's a lot of money he's going to miss out on. So I hope the season goes well for him. UW's offense has a ton of talent, but most of the receivers and running backs are freshmen or sophomores, so he's going to need to pick up his game. UW has the potential to be great offensively (their defense still needs a lot of work though) but it all needs to come together. Their last game of the year last season against Cal was evidence of what the O can do when it's clicking. We'll see how it goes though. I know his name is being thrown around as a Heisman possibility too. If UW ends up at 6-6 or 7-5, about where I expect, it won't happen, but if Locker can lead UW to say a 9-3 record with some gaudy stats, then a Heisman may be a possibility. And if he did win it, that would cement his spot as #1 next year, IMO.

Yeah, that's more or less what I was thinking, too. I expect a 7-5 or so mark, but still think they'll be a wildcard in the Pac-10 race. And I think Oregon has to be considered the favorite, even after all the offseason turmoil.

Agreed, Oregon's chances to go back to the Rose Bowl are very good. It also helps that USC is banned from a bowl game, but even then I expect Oregon to be better this year anyway.

There is not much loose about mine either (although there is something Goosey ;) ), I root for the top team overwhelmingly but I follow the Pittsburgh teams (I live here and the coverage is everywhere, ha ha) and the other colleges I have attended.

I'm really bored. The Sox are on, but I never get excited about Toronto, and hockey is 2 months away :o

Yeah, but the crowd doesn't seem to interested at times. Maybe it's the stadium. I've never liked those big stadiums

If you're lucky (your mileage may vary), every now and then you can catch a Geddy Lee sighting.
about 6 rows behind home plate, just to the left, isle seat.

also, I hate Rush.
