I think he does. But I think he knows this is his big moment for his career. A 3- or 4- year contract that will be the biggest he ever gets. So, if we pony up, he'll stay. If not and somebody offers a lot more, he might go. Salary cap going up a bunch makes it a lot easier. That's why I go towards the likely staying side.

Are you joking? He loves Bruce more than any guy on the team. When a fan brought a "Fire Bruce" sign to the practice arena this year. He skated to center ice, looked at the guy, fired 3-4 pucks right at the glass directly at the guy, glared at him again, and skated away.
