That surprises me. Whenever we trade away relievers, it seems they do well. Take Matt Thornton. Guy couldn't throw a strike to save his life here. He goes to Chicago and he's an All-Star.
Just about every other Detroit acquisition this year has done at least OK. Betemit, Martinez, Benoit, Young, Penny, Fister. I guess the law of averages dictated that somebody had to do poorly.
