So I found this place to live, and I talked to the guy about it in person, and I explained that I needed the place by this coming weekend. I explained this to him three weeks ago, and he said that was doable, so I told him I wanted the place and to give me the application. Well, one week and three un-returned phone calls later, I finally got the application, filled it out and mailed it to him that day. One week and 3 more unreturned phone calls later, I find out he never bothered to check any of the applications and he can't give me the place by this weekend anymore.

Now I'm stuck. I'm going to be homeless in a week.

Well, at least I learned the landlord was a flake before I started renting at the place. I can't imagine how painful it would have been to deal with something breaking...
