Also, Alex Presley went on the 15-day DL, and Pedro Alvarez was recalled from AAA. I hope Alvarez starts mashing right away. I also hope Presley gets back soon so we can send down D'Arnaud. And then I hope Tabata gets back so we can move Jones to 1B and DFA Overbay.

Things are coming together a bit. That's for sure. Still would like another move or two (another reliever, though Watson's done brilliantly; and a bat). Pena would work for me, though if we just want a bench bat Giambi is out there.

I don't think it would cost very much more for Pena over Giambi, so I'd go for Pena. DFA Overbay, send the Cubs $15 million and a C prospect, take on the rest of Pena's contract, and make him our starting 1B. That makes Jones a bench bat, and as a bench bat he's very valuable.

As far as pitchers, I would target a starter before a bullpen arm. Ohlendorf would be very good out of the pen, so when he gets back, I'd send him there and send down Leroux. Relievers cost too much on the trade market, and they're not all that valuable, so it's really not worth the cost. If the Pirates can swing a deal of some sort of Jimenez, that would be ideal.

When everyone's healthy, I'd like to see something like this:

1. Tabata LF
2. Presley RF
3. McCutchen CF
4. Pena 1B
5. Walker 2B
6. Alvarez 3B
7. Doumit C
8. Cedeno SS

Alvarez and Walker could be interchangeable based on who's producing better.

Bench: Diaz, Jones, Wood, Pearce, McKenry

My roommate last year was a big Buffy fan, so a Joss Whedon fan. We watched all of Buffy, Angel, and then Firefly. It was good...but it just ends. Because the series was cancelled.

It wasn't Fran, her name is Maggie Wheeler. She is almost 50 and looks pretty good. She had a recurring character on Friends named Janice who was Chandler's girlfriend. She talked in such a nasally voice on that show that its seems odd to hear her talk normal. L-O-L.

It does just end but the last one is kind of open ended and in some ways is a fitting last episode.

Serenity is a really good movie IMO. I only wonder whether I would have liked it if I had not watched the series.
