I've learned usually not to take advice from this thread, turn out bad even if its good advice. I called her, think she gets it. There were waterworks...not necessary waterworks but still...

That sucks. Doing it by phone was probably a better alternative than texting though. It's far less emotionally detached; softens the blow.
