If the Niners lose to the Panthers Mike should hand in his resignation immediately following the game. That team is awful. The Bears gave them every opportunity to win today but Carolina's offense was HORRID. Todd Collins went 6-16, threw 4 interceptions & the Bears still won.

Sweet. Bye is always tricky. I was really counting on New Orleans to take down Arizona and hand the Seahawks first place without even playing a game. Now I want New Orleans to miss the playoffs.

I don't think his head will explode as much as I think that he will knock Alex Smith the fuck out, on national TV. Which I wouldn't really mind at this point.

I hear Stanford has a pretty good QB this year who may be draft eligible at the end of the season...

Alex Brink - former Washington State Cougar

He gets his first CFL start against my BC Lions this weekend.

I'm no college football freak, but from the little game action I've seen of him in the CFL, the Leos should be just fine...

Had a really good career at WSU. He holds the school records for passing yards, touchdowns, attempts, completions and total offense. Team around him wasn't any good though, he was 17-23 as a 4 year starter.

Alex Brink update:
got pulled in the 3rd quarter, the crowd has been chanting for their injured QB during most of the 3rd.
ended up 4 for 18 (including 0 for his last 11) for 61 yards. 1 fumble.

J Hefney of the Bombers has not helped the cause much either:
3 Unnecessary Roughness penalties
1 Objectionable Conduct penalty
