Old friends from out of state in town tonight. Dinner, lots of beer. Feeling good now but I bet not so good tomorrow.

my wife's work christmas party was last night.
1) open bar +2) my wife doesn't drink (built in designated driver) = my head hurts.
plus my kid has decided a slide whistle is the perfect Sunday morning entertainment.

Jayson Werth got a deal of 7 years for $126 million from the Nationals. Those fools. He's a good player, but he's not that good. I'm okay with the $18 million per year, but not over the course of 7 years. I could see 2 years and $36 million, 3 years and $50 million, 4 years and $60 million, but no longer contracts, and no more money. This signing make the market very tough for teams like the Pirates, Twins, Royals, Athletics, etc.

Nevada's gonna play Boston College in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on January 9th. Really? A 12-1 team gets a 7-5 team who was 4-4 in the ACC? Hell, I don't really think wouldn't complain all that much had it been a 7-5 team not from the Big East or ACC. They lost to NOTRE DAME for Christ sake. The ONLY good thing about this is that it's a day before the NCG so, there may be some extra viewers. I Hate the BCS SO much right now.

I think Michigan st. is overrated, but they found ways to win games, and if your in a BCS conference, they get rewarded for that. But it should be a good game nontheless, I think that michigan st. somehow finds a way to win it/Alabama finds a way to lose it.

I think MSU is overrated too, but I think 'Bama wins.

You know I'm not 100% sure. For some reason I think he did stay for all 4 years though.

I think he did leave early. Not 100% sure either, though.

Edit: He was a senior, but had an extra year of eligibility left.
