After watching that video jstew, it reminded me of that classic Ilya Bryzgalov interview in Edmonton when he uttered the following:

"is only game...why do you have to be mad?"

1) pretty good optical zoom / image stabilizer from that far away
2) 2:36, a lonely hand slowly wavers up "I'm oooooo-kay!"
3) was this a highschool tourney? CIS? crowd seems a little sparse. (Ti-cat joke goes here)
4) needs more shoe.

Just a quick shout out to congratulate Naheed Nenshi (new Calgary mayor-elect). He effectively used social media to get his message across and will be a welcome change to the entrenched establishment at City Hall.

How do you think the boys at the Petroleum Club are liking
a young muslim at the helm?

To be honest, I don't think it will make very many waves at all. 38 years old and an energetic guy. He was educated at Harvard, I wonder if he thinks the Oilers will score 410 goals this season.

To the video: why? Why does something like that start?

Also, how? How does a coach let his team be that out of control? The players belong on the field and nowhere else. Unless a sniper's trying to pick them off, that's where they should stay, regardless of what's happening in the crowd.

That was fan interference!

I agree. But the Yankees always get the benefit of the calls. They would have had 2 tonight if it wasn't for instant replay.

It's always nice to see the guy in the 8 hole jack a 3 run homer against the Yankees! :D
