I just heard that there were 17 voters that didn't vote for Cal Ripken Jr. in his first year of eligibility. A handful also didn't vote for Ken Griffey, Jr. Inexplicable decisions.

Seems baseball writers are the biggest bunch of pretentious d-bags since they know what they do for a living is dying and no one really cares. A way to keep themselves self-important.

My opinion is that players like Bonds, Sosa, McGuire, Clemens should all be in. The MLB allowed and endorsed what they did at that time because it brought ratings. Now the MLB pretends like it was bad and also see the writers above to make it like they are better than the game.

i heard this morning on the radio (didnt look anywhere else to verify) that it was the same voter who left Derek Jeter off his ballot and his rationale was that the best player ever (Babe Ruth) didnt go in first ballot so no one else should
