Didnt Pohlad buy the Twins way back when because he promised to keep the team in Minnesota? The other potential buyer at the time didnt make that promise. I believe that guys name was Donald Trump ?????

The Pohlad family purchased the Twins back in 1984 - I was only 5 at the time so I don’t know if they threatened to move back then.
I do know they needed a new stadium and threatened to move but then mlb had contraction on the table and the Twins were one of the two teams along with the Expos.

So it can always be worse as in your teams owner can threaten to dissolve the team for a nice kickback.

Or move them to Lethbridge.

Well, the COVID booster doesn't mess around. Knocked out our whole family today.

Watching these playoffs and all of the bullpen usage and starters not pitching long makes it all the more frustrating the Mariners offense couldn’t help our rotation just get in the dance. I firmly believe we’d have been favorites with a semi competent offense.
