I don’t think it was inevitable, they just systematically flushed this market down the toilet for no reason at all.

A half decent stadium and a bit of investment into the club and this team probably would’ve celebrated another title in the Bay Area at some point.

I've watched this countless times and it still cracks me up every time - The announcer going crazy, the Stanford band member getting trucked in the endzone, it's all beautiful.
