I hope they drop to #7 in the polls because of this.

Such injustices make the first ten minutes of every meeting completely hilarious at work.
Don't look then.

Don't look then.
It will still be an injustice that they are not ranked SUPER NUMBER ONE FOR ALL TIME

And that will not be as hilarious.

Meanwhile, FSU is still ranked 5th after squeaking past 2 unranked teams.

Blue Jays can lose all 6 remaining vs. NYY and TB and still have a 52% chance of making the playoffs.

I'm betting they miss.

If there is a way Houston doesn't make the playoffs on top of the Yankees and Red Sox not being there. I consider that a small victory.
Sadly we are still stuck with the Dodgers.

If we sweep them and win one against Texas, we finish ahead of them. I’d bet they’d miss in that scenario.

But after tonight, I’m not banking on us getting in.
looks like theyre cooked ... bats have gone dead and the bullpen is overworked ... saw their salary is $100 shmill lower than each of the jays, astros and rangers ... sadly, you get what you pay for

Dammit...

RIP Brooks. In addition to being a tremendous player (way ahead of his time defensively) he was a genuinely good person.

My grandfather was one of his first road roomies when he got called up. And would always make time to hang out with my grandfather whenever he was in town. I met him a number of times. One of my prized possessions is a batting helmet he signed for me when I was 12.

I didn't know that Brooks Robinson had a Vancouver connection - He played for the Vancouver Mounties at Nat Bailey Stadium in 1958. RIP Brooks.
