The good news is Jordan helped Charlotte get another team after (if I remember correctly) the previous owner screwed them.

The bad news is Michael Jordan was the owner of the new team.

Technically the guy who started BET owned them first I think.

He did get them their name back though. And made a shit ton of money.

Guy just seemed to never be able to figure out his front office and refused to go outside for help in finding staff etc. which is what all the smart teams do these days (unless you're in the NHL, then you just go over your team's roster from 25 years ago and select accordingly).

Not only does the umpire in the Orioles-Cubs game have a 30" wide strike zone (horrible calls for both teams) ; he also lost track of the ball-strike count in the 9th. They had to go to review to award a walk.
