reminds me of this once told to me by a co-worker:
He was an engineer working at a local steel plant. One summer he had student/intern doing some programming. The kid was driving him nuts talking about "boolean variables", pronouncing it "boo-LEAN". One day he just snapped at screamed at him:
It's not boo-LEAN. It's BOO-lee-an.
