I think it was just a beer spoof. I don't even remember posting it.

that has to be pure coincidence. I was working in the busiest Morgue in the lower mainland during that time but do not remember any high cases of death that were similar to what corona was

COVID-19 was a significant variation of a previous respiratory virus so it was classed a "Corona-virus". People latched onto the class as equal to the name and used them interchangeably.

2014 there was a significant outbreak of SARS. Was probably reported with the class name as well.
