The same goes for me for you both, or anyone here. My dad passed on 12/26/93. Christmas just isn't the same anymore, but I know he held on long enough for 1 more Christmas together.

It's always tough for the first few years, but as they say, time heals all wounds. I still miss my dad but dying is part of life and I'm glad my dad got 79 years from his. I feel he could have lived longer had I known what the symptoms of congestive heart failure were, something I felt guilty about for a while, but I realize I'm not a doctor and there was really nothing I could do under the circumstances. Take care buddy.

Amen, brother...I have 2 girls and a son myself...plus 2 grandsons at home that call me "dad"..it's a cool day...and as far as I'm concerned.. I am "dad"... Happy Fathers Day fellow Dads!!!
