I can't wait until I graduate and start makin money, because right now I only have one guitar. It's a great guitar, but I'd like to have at least 3 acoustic guitars at some point.......just for the simple fact that I'd like to have 3 different tunings and I don't wanna take the time to tune my guitar every time
Alvarez RD20S is what I have now.......all I could afford, but it has a 5 star rating. Bought it brand new, and it still looks and sounds just like the day I bought it. It's been a great guitar for only spending $400.
It's not a flashy looking guitar, but I wouldn't trade the sound quality for anything
If anyone is shopping the Fender lineup on a budget (tele, strat, duo-sonic, p-bass, jazz bass), you NEED to check out the Squire Classic Vibe series. They are seriously phenomenal guitars for the money. List at about $300, used can go as low as $200. I have a 50's tele, and liked it so much that i bought the next used strat that I saw. made in China, but these ones are done right.
once or twice a year some friends and I go to one of my buddies' cabins way out in the middle of nowhere. very rustic, no power, no running water, outhouse in the back, we need to row across a lake to get to it. We bring generators and battery packs to run our amps and just have a dark and dirty sonic weekend. Whenever we listen to the recordings, i always swear we sounded better at the time.
