I'm sure I could find something, but this dude transposed it, and I can't do that. I'm learning it by ear mostly, but if I come across something I'll be sure to post it!

was just about to complement your terrific timing and sense of melody
barre-ing around a capo is a neat trick, too.

I can't wait until I graduate and start makin money, because right now I only have one guitar. It's a great guitar, but I'd like to have at least 3 acoustic guitars at some point.......just for the simple fact that I'd like to have 3 different tunings and I don't wanna take the time to tune my guitar every time :D

Alvarez RD20S is what I have now.......all I could afford, but it has a 5 star rating. Bought it brand new, and it still looks and sounds just like the day I bought it. It's been a great guitar for only spending $400.

It's not a flashy looking guitar, but I wouldn't trade the sound quality for anything

Price of the guitar doesn't matter. If the sound suits you, and the passion is there, that's all that matters. We all want a flock of guitars, lol.

We have a music store downtown Lincoln.........I used to go there after class and just sit there and play all the guitars they had. The best part is that they actually wanted us to come in there and play them.......so I'd grab acoustic guitars off the wall with $2,500 price tags on them. That's a pretty good feeling when you're holdin one of those.

Played Gibsons, Taylors, Martins, Fenders......you name it, they have it and I played it. I need to hit that store up again soon......almost forgot about it.

My favorite part was the picks though........I like quality picks, and the guy would always tell me "meh, just grab a handful and I'll charge you a few bucks."

Yea I'd love to get some recording software. I've just got Audacity right now.....free download, can't do much with it. But it works for now. I've got a miniature studio mic that works great though. The mic makes all the difference.

If anyone is shopping the Fender lineup on a budget (tele, strat, duo-sonic, p-bass, jazz bass), you NEED to check out the Squire Classic Vibe series. They are seriously phenomenal guitars for the money. List at about $300, used can go as low as $200. I have a 50's tele, and liked it so much that i bought the next used strat that I saw. made in China, but these ones are done right.
That reminds me that a few of my buddies are supposed to get together and just record random shit. We've done it before and alot of the stuff is hillarious!
once or twice a year some friends and I go to one of my buddies' cabins way out in the middle of nowhere. very rustic, no power, no running water, outhouse in the back, we need to row across a lake to get to it. We bring generators and battery packs to run our amps and just have a dark and dirty sonic weekend. Whenever we listen to the recordings, i always swear we sounded better at the time. :D
so much fun though, nothing like adding 15 minute solos in Neill Young's Cortez the Killer, or stretching Deep Purple's Child in Time into a 30 minute jam at 4am when you can no longer stand up.
here's the lake, and the cooperating weather the last time we went up, and here's a classic vibe tele (slight upgrades). I just love the pic.

Really digging this guys style and tone... I've been into the real chill instrumentals lately with ripping leads in the middle.
