Well, it's been a good ride, but after almost 10 years of working in Burnaby, today is my last day. The funny thing is I may be right back to working in Burnaby but with a different company. It was time to move on, it's the longest I've ever worked at one place.

Ten years in a tech role is a long time. I hit ten years at my current place in June.

And knowing that I can do my job from home/remote just opened up the whole world. Probably gonna start looking for something after the bonuses get paid out

Update - I accepted an offer earlier today with a company in Burnaby and I start January 11th. This could turn out to be a full time remote gig as well, so that's kinda cool.
