Yep, the second guy did step over and it didn't go in. Reminds me of one hockey halftime shot stopped halfway in and halfway out of the hole. I don't know if they gave it to him, I'm guessing not because it was controversial. Who would make controversy if they gave it to him?
And a half-court shot is easier than the hockey shot below (sadly he was disqualified for being two feet too close, even though that's where the mascot or crew set it up. It's not like the guy would have thought, "hmm, if I put it two feet closer I have a better shot." Lame:
