OT - Favorite present you got and favorite gift you gave

Just for fun. My favorite gift I got is actually a tie between Despicable Me and a blank Kyle Rowley (Spokane Shock) replica jersey. My favorite gift I gave was Anberlin's latest album to my brother. Because he really likes them, and an hour before we opened our presents, he asked me if I had heard the new album. We hadn't seen each other since before it was released in September.

My new jersey was unexpected, and I was very pleased, so that would have to be at the top of my list.

Favorite gift I gave? Tickets to Wild @ Bruins Jan. 6th, cause its pretty much a gift for myself cause I am going, .

Favorite gift I got: "Olie the Goalie" Black Jersey. Favorite player as a kid and my old jersey didn't fit me anymore.

Favorite gift I gave: This necklace I got my girlfriend. she thought it was the most amazing gift ever, I didn't think it was that good of a gift really, but hey, it made her happy which made me happy

best gift i got was a hand-stitched wallet, which was made from a Louis Vuiton garment bag.

I got a breathalizer key chain from my wife I will try out soon. I normally am home when I drink so its really just a joke but it will be fun to mess with.

I got my wife, and wrapped, a box of OB and she seemed pleased - well she laughed. Yes, I'm serious.

Oh I also bought myself a new Gameboy Color and a couple games for it off eBay for very low prices (bought NHL Blades of Steel for a penny woo).

Best gift I got was a gift to the whole family: Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy for the Wii. I've been winning a lot. =)
I also got some really nice shirts and ties for potential graduate school interviews that should come in handy, since most of my clothes are way too big for me after losing 25 pounds. The water filter and boiler will also be quite useful.

My favorite gift I gave I haven't actually given yet. I got my girlfriend a Periodic Table of the Elephants poster from the American Chemical Society Web site. I'll give it to her next week when I see her. It combines two of her favorite things: chemistry and adorable things, so I think she'll enjoy it.

Best gift I got was the care package my mother sent me home with. Lots of home made bake goods. Cookies, fudge, Chocolate Pecan bars. GREAT STUFF.

We got my mom a TV & a DVD/VCR combo player. She was in shock for awhile.

My kids treated me really good this year, My oldest bought me a winged wheel wall clock for my den, my middle daughter bought me a "11 time Stanley Cup champion" placard for the wall in my den. I think the best was my youngest daughter bought me a sign autographed Jonathan Ericsson hockey puck. Nice part with the puck was she bought that with her own baby sitting money; it was kind of nice my wife had already bought a gift for her to give me, but she insisted on buying me the puck, pretty sweet for a 15 year old to think of her old dad like that....

Bought my wife a new Sony Handycam HD. Things smaller than the battery packs for my old VHS recorder.

Carefull, those things are the devil. It starts out with a little fun checking the BAC. Next thing you know you are seeing who can get the highest score and you wake up without your pants with vomit in your hair and a nasty cut on your hand.
