Working on a bid for a nice basketball arena at the GSR in Reno. What has me more excited about this project is it has an outdoor ice rink and the hoops court goes away for an indoor rink hopefully signaling an AHL team maybe? We do have the ECHL Tahoe icemen, but it kinda sucks going there....if Reno gets something I will definitely have season Tickets....still a pipe dream, but im in the hunt....

Well shit, supposed to be Tuscon Roadrunners relocating to Reno....!

Until Uncle Gary thinks for the 500th time Phoenix would be a great location for an expansion team, bails them out financially for 20 years and builds them their own arena where the owners actually pay the bills.

AZ just not a good market for hockey. How embarrassing for the players to have finished their last season there in a 5000 capacity arena. I wouldn't want to lace up.

Hard to say, probably made it look fuller with the 2500 that actually showed up

I was lucky enough to catch a game at Mullet Arena last season. I was in AZ and so just went to whatever game they had going while I was there and it happened to be the Canucks in town. It's a great barn and atmosphere for college, too funny that an NHL team was there. After the first period I went out to concession stand near me to get something to eat and it happen to be the new makeshift tunnel the visiting team walks to and from to get to the bench. So here I am going to grab a pretzel and I am walking right alongside Quinn Hughes and Connor Garland, who both happen to look like little kids even on skates. I picked up front row seats for under $100 ticket, felt like there were as many ASU cheerleaders in the building as there were fans.
