OT: Comedy Central Roasts

I know from time to time we have had threads about various Comedy Central roasts on these boards...I just saw that Greg Giraldo...one of the funnier roasters, he has been on just about every one, passed away yesterday. He was 44 years old and apperantly OD'd on painkillers. Another great comedian gone too early.

RIP Greg....

I've seen him a few times on the CC roasts, he was quite crude, but never mean crude. And I thought he was one of the best roasters on the shows I watched. RIP.

Tony Curtis has passed away as well (85) - Some Like it Hot is a great movie.

Saw that too....he was a great actor....a little bit before my time (a lot bit, actually).
His greatest role though, and the one I'm most thankful for, is being Jamie Lee's father...thank you Tony....

sad to see greg go. He was a very underrated comedian. Definitely one of the few one the roasts that were actually talented, but rarely appreciated.


As a side note, did anyone see Gilbert Gottfried's response?
