Canadian serial killer Clifford Olson, who had confessed to killing 11 children and youths, died in a Quebec hospital Friday, federal government officials have confirmed.

Last week, families of some of his victims had said the 71-year-old Olson was dying of cancer and had only days to live.

Olson's victims were all between nine and 18 years old.

he went to my junior high school. well I was 16 years younger when he was there so I wasnt even in school yet a few of my teachers remembered him very well.

its over on him now. hope his victims families rest better and can find any missing closure.
