i'm not a baseball fan.. but i jump the phils bandwagon in the playoffs.. from what i'm gathering (out of my ass, and thin air) this means the phillies will need approximately 2 runs per game to win the world series

Wow, Phillies are gonna be kickin ass and chewing bubble gum... And come April they'll be all out of gum (gotta love Duke Nukem).

I respect Lee a whole lot more, not that I didn't think he was a class act before. Didn't chase the money like many other douche Yanks would. ;)

With all the rumors about a 3rd mystery team involved in the bidding, I kept saying to myself, "I bet it's the Phillies." From a money standpoint, there are only about 6 teams that can really afford it, and maybe another 4 teams that would actually take a chance, like Texas or the Nationals.

Halladay, Lee, Oswalt, and Hamels...Wow.

Balls.

And then there's the Pirates:

Correia, Maholm, Ohlendorf, McDonald, someone.

Ugh.

Hey Phillies, can the Pirates have one of your pitchers?

=)

Ah, why not give some West Coast love to a rotation of Lincecum-Cain-Bumganer-Sanchez-Zito???

:D

yup Ill cheer for them too ... when i played baseball growing up it was the Giants and the M's ... I have only resorted to buying sports jerseys with another mans name on the back twice in my life ... Mariners > Griffey and Giants > Clark (Will) ... loved that jackass as a kid

whats not to love about that pothead from our neck of the woods ... Bumgarner will be a stud

/btw: your Giants rotation list reads like that sesame street game one of these things is not like the other ... Zito should ditch baseball and work on his burgeoning music career

I love it that he didn't go to the Yankees.

But shit, let's just skip the regular season and let Philly and Boston play for the World Series right now.

Oh joy, now we have 4 aces to go along with that heralded offense that will score 2 runs a game while hot.

Only Ruben.
