CBS is hurting the cast and crew if anyone is, not Charlie. Sure the man is fucked up but hes always showed up to work on time and sober enough to get through an episode. What CBS should have done to get me to blame it on Sheen was not shut down production until hes actually shown up incapable or he just didnt show up.

Another thing that REALLY bother me is that hes pretty much playing a version of himself on the show. I cant even call it tamer because I think they've mad a few jokes about Charlie Harper liking drugs every now and then, not just booze and hookers. Why sit there, and right shows someone based on the mans life and then punish him he continues to live his life. Wait sorry, he wasnt punished for living his life, he was punished for mouthing off to his bosses. Because lets face it, if it was really about his lifestyle the show would have been shut down long ago.

Thats the thing, the viewership is still there, its still the #1 comedy...something that until Sheen got him them, CBS themselves waved that flag high and often
