Steelers are decimated by injuries and still sitting in the AFC North drivers seat...incredible....and no matter what you think of Ben as a person, he is an awesome, bad ass football player...

The fact that Ben was standing still and Ngata hit him in the head makes that fine logical to me.
McClain, while it definitely looks worse, is being asked to hit the receiver hard if he catches the ball to try to knock it out of his hands and also being asked to hold up if he cannot catch it. Also where one second he was aimed at the chest of Miller and due to Millers motion he was now aimed at his head. Its hard for defenders to adjust mid stride or in mid air. Either way, while I appreciate the difficulty of whats being asked of defenders, they cannot have hits like that in the NFL or someone will break their neck.
